I was picking beans at a farm this morning when Yulia called. She talked about yesterday's triads and then asked, "What about that fairy tale, The Scarlet Flower*? I keep thinking about it for some reason." I forgot the beans.
The muddy fields of Central Jersey turned into a far-away land - the fairy tale grounds. I saw the true meaning of the tale for the first time...
When I got a chance, I went to Wikipedia to read about the fairy tale. The first thing that struck me was that the main character was named "The Beautiful" for being lovely and pure of heart.
And pure of heart...
