Mastery of Life: Humbleness and Joy

I have been asking again and again to understand what true humbleness means and how does it fit with the act of balancing our ego every day. Here is what I received today. (August 27, 2008)

In short, accept every person, every encounter in your life as a master. Learn a lesson presented to you, whether you are re-living one of your unpleasant experiences, or ducking away from it. Do not ask in despair why do you need to repeat this lesson again; do not be frustrated about the fact that it is at your face yet another time. Instead, accept that you gain your mastery of your life through that experience, and that is what a truly humble master does. Be one. Create you Life. Enjoy your every day, meeting other masters along the way. Become your own Master. Espavo.
-----------------

We are all One, and as such we feel as one. That is why if you experience joy, all feel that at some level, for we share vibrations globally and beyond. This is why we care if someone suffers. This is why a war some place distant concerns us nevertheless. We simply feel it, whether we think so or not. Thus, our feelings are important to the planet - every single one of them. Think twice, if necessary, and find what brings you joy.
...
I ask you, if your heart has to always check with your head (at least, according to many people's believes), why is your head under no obligation to check with your Heart?
